The challenge

The public website needed clearer solution messaging and a stronger publishing model for a complex payments business. The work sat inside a broader transformation effort: Contentful onboarding across two business units, CSGI.com and Forte.net, with an end-of-February 2026 deadline.

The relaunch environment required more than page copy. It required content modeling, editorial workflows, migration planning, governance, architecture, team enablement, analytics setup, and practical QA.

What I built

Solution messagingClearer page structure and product narrative for payments solutions and buyer paths.
CMS executionContentful publishing support, migration planning, content QA, and handoff discipline.
GovernanceEditorial workflows, review paths, architecture decisions, and team enablement for future updates.

Broader program scope

The broader SOW included brand workshop work, onsite SEO audit, homepage copy, a Contentful build, up to 30 unique design templates, 60–70 pages, analytics setup, and optimization of up to 100 pages.

I am not presenting those scope items as solo ownership. They show the scale of the environment I was operating in: a cross-functional website modernization effort where content strategy had to be clear, useful, and executable.

Why it matters

Website content strategy sits at the intersection of messaging, structure, product understanding, and execution. A senior content leader has to be able to think architecturally and still care about the practical details: CMS fields, redirects, page templates, review paths, metadata, analytics, and whether the page actually helps a buyer.
